John LiSanti has personally owned, developed, managed, and marketed commercial, residential and resort properties valued at over one billion dollars. Over the years, he has been one of the nation’s most active brokers and consultants, serving both buyers and sellers in major commercial acquisitions and large residential developments in both domestic and international real estate markets.

Mr. LiSanti began his real estate career with Dart Resorts, a resort development company, where he was personally responsible for the marketing of Tahoe Donner Golf and Ski Resort and Alta Sierra Resort. He quickly became their number one salesman and manager and was promoted to President and General Manager for Northern California where he was directly responsible for over 250 salespeople and all aspects of marketing.

Following his career at Dart, Mr. LiSanti started his own real estate brokerage company, American Realty and Development. In addition to acting as a broker on numerous real estate transactions, he personally owned and developed over 2500 new single-family homes, over 2200 apartments and condominium units, and over 480,000 square feet of commercial properties, predominantly in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, he was also responsible for marketing numerous other successful golf and resort projects, including Silverado Country Club, Chardonnay Country Club, American Canyon, Wild Horse Valley Ranch, Franklin Canyon, and many other resorts.

Mr. LiSanti has also been the principal in several major international transactions. He was a principal in a joint venture with the Soviet Union’s diplomatic corps to complete the first hotel/golf resort in Russia, the Moscow Country Club; was a principal in a joint venture involving a major hotel/golf/casino resort on the Costa del Sol in Spain; and played a major role in real estate projects in Asia (Japan and the Philippines), Central America (Costa Rica and Mexico) and Europe (France and Spain). His early career in education administration with the US Defense Department throughout Asia helped him build a network of contacts with wealthy Asian business figures that remains strong and active to this day.

Mr. LiSanti is well known and respected in the real estate business world for his strategic planning and for being in the forefront of market trends. He is currently Senior Investment Manager at Berkshire Hathaway Drysdale Properties.
